1. Overview
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all services and products provided by Swiss Security Solutions LLC (operating under the trade marks: Swiss Security Solutions, Securely Swiss®, and trademarks Swiss Detective Agency™, Private Investigator Switzerland™, Cyber Investigative Solutions™, Blockchain Investigation Agency™, Find Person Switzerland™ and others), in accordance with Swiss law and our General Standard Terms and Conditions (GSTC).

2. Service-Related Refund Policy
2.1 Rendered Services (No Refund)
In accordance with Swiss law and contractual obligations, rendered services cannot be refunded.
This applies to all services that have been completed, including but not limited to:

Security services (guarding, mobile patrols, close protection, security management)

Investigation services (private investigations, financial investigations, due diligence, background checks, surveillance, skip tracing, asset tracing and recovery, undercover operations)

Business intelligence services
-
Cyber investigation services (digital forensics, mobile forensics, blockchain investigations, cyber security assessments)
-
Consulting and advisory services (security consulting, risk management, safety services)
-
Defence solutions
-
Audit services (facility management audits, compliance audits)
-
Trial or litigation preparation services
-
Any other professional services rendered
Legal Basis: Once professional services have been performed, they constitute completed contractual obligations that cannot be reversed. The service provider has allocated resources, time, and expertise that cannot be reclaimed.
2.2 Partially Completed Services
For services that have been started but not completed:

Billing Principle: You will be charged only for the services actually rendered and documented.

Calculation Method: Charges are calculated based on actual hours worked, resources deployed, and deliverables provided.

Documentation: Detailed invoices will specify the scope of work completed.

Minimum Charge: For projects or one-off services (security and/or investigative services excluding consulting, advisory, cyber security, due diligence, and defence services), the minimum charge is 4 hours per start of service operation.

Time Calculation: Partial half-hours are charged as full half-hours.
Example: If an investigation service was contracted for 40 hours but only 15 hours of work were completed before cancellation, you will be charged for 15 hours of service rendered.
2.3 Services Not Started (Processing Fee)
For services that have been contracted but not yet started:

Umtriebsentschädigung (Processing Fee): A 10% administrative and processing fee will be charged on the total contracted service value.

Purpose of Fee: This fee covers administrative costs, contract preparation, resource allocation, opportunity costs, and business planning.

Refund Amount: 90% of prepaid amounts will be refunded after deduction of the processing fee.
Cancellation Procedure:

Include contract reference number and reason for cancellation

Cancellation must be received before service commencement

Refund will be processed within 20 business days
2.4 Special Provisions for Investigative Services
As stated in Section 11 of our GSTC:
Swiss Security Solutions makes no warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied, as to the results of investigative and legal support services. All results of investigative and intelligence services by their nature are not guaranteed and are limited by time and resources.

Investigation results are inherently uncertain and depend on available information, cooperation of third parties, and external factors beyond our control.

No refunds are available based on investigation outcomes or results.

Services are billed based on work performed, not results achieved.
3. Product Return & Refund Policy
3.1 Defective Products
We accept returns for defective or faulty products under the following conditions:
Eligibility:

Product must be demonstrably defective or malfunctioning

Defect must not be caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification

Return request must be made within 14 days of receipt

Product must be in its original condition with all accessories and documentation
Return Procedure:

Return Shipping: For defective products, return shipping costs will be covered by Swiss Security Solutions LLC.
3.2 Unopened New Products (Exchange Only)
We may accept unopened new products for exchange under the following strict conditions:
Eligibility Requirements:

Product must be in its original, unopened, sealed packaging

Product must be unused and in resalable condition

All original tags, labels, and documentation must be intact

Exchange request must be made within 14 days of receipt

Product must not be a special order or customized item

Receive exchange authorization

Return product in original packaging

Receive replacement product of equal or lesser value

Exchanges are subject to product availability

3.3 Non-Returnable Products
The following products cannot be returned or exchanged:

Opened products (except if defective)

Used products (except if defective)

Customized or special-order products

Software or digital products with broken seals

Hygiene-sensitive products

Products damaged due to customer misuse or negligence

Refunds & Return of investments are NOT governed by this Return & Refund Policy.

5. Payment Terms & Conditions
5.1 Payment Terms for Swiss Business Clients

Payment Period: 20 days from invoice date

Default Interest: 6% per annum after due date

Service Interruption: Payment delays exceeding 60 days may result in service suspension after written notification
5.2 Payment Terms for Foreign Clients & Private Individuals

Payment Method: Prepayment or down-payment on account (deposit rule)
-
Bank Guarantee: Letter of Bank Guarantee accepted up to 50% of project costs (incl. VAT 8.10%)

Invoice Timing: Down-payment invoices issued after funds are received in Swiss Security Solutions bank account

Payment Due: Invoices payable upon receipt without deduction
5.3 Recurring Services

Billing: Monthly in twelve equal installments for annual flat rates

Invoice Schedule: Issued in the last week of the month preceding service delivery
5.4 Project & One-Time Services

Billing: After service completion
-
Down Payment: Swiss Security Solutions reserves the right to request down payment on account
6. Warranty Provisions
As specified in Section 14 of our GSTC:
Swiss Security Solutions warrants the professional execution of agreed services. If a service proves to be defective:

Client must inform Swiss Security Solutions immediately
-
Defective conditions shall be rectified free of charge within a reasonable period
-
Warranty applies to workmanship and professional service delivery
7. Force Majeure & Service Delays
As outlined in Section 17 of our GSTC:
Force majeure events entitle Swiss Security Solutions to postpone service provision for the duration of the event. Such delays do not:

Entitle the client to cancel or terminate the agreement
-
Constitute grounds for refund claims
-
Create liability for damages
Force majeure includes: strikes, lockouts, civil war, acts of terrorism, riots, natural disasters, import/export bans, energy deficiencies, pandemics, and other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
